A Tuition Free Public Charter School

Christi Thompson

Christi loves being a part of the Syringa Mountain School team. She has lived in the Wood River Valley for the past 17 years. She has 4 boys and was first introduced to the Waldorf method when she enrolled one of her sons in Syringa. Christi’s organizational approach and commitment to process help create space for the teachers and students to thrive.

She was raised in rural southeastern Idaho before marrying Bradley Thompson and becoming a full-time mother. After her children were all in school, she returned to the workforce.

She has her AAS Administrative Assistant/Office Manager Degree, BA in Applied Management, Special Education teaching certification, and Master’s in Educational leadership completed in May 2022 (putting herself through school while working full-time).

Christi has participated in over 40 hours of Waldorf training and is committed to Syringa continuing to build and exist as a Waldorf-inspired public school.

Fun fact: I LOVE sports anything from watching them to coaching them. I am currently one of the WRHS Track coaches where I specialize in coaching Pole Vault and hurdles.
