Idaho Family Reading Pajama Day!

An annual statewide celebration of family reading!

9am Р10am: we will hold an all-school read-in at Syringa in our pajamas to show our excitement and love of reading along with multiple libraries and schools across the state of Idaho!

Bring your favorite book and come in your most comfy pajamas for an hour of reading as a school community.

Pajama Read-A-Thon

School libraries across the state are celebrating the 20th anniversary of Idaho Family Reading Week with different programs. At Syringa we will be having a reading challenge and celebrating by with a Pajama Read-A-Thon on Friday November 18th! The children will wear their Pajamas to school and participate in a school wide Read-A-Thon.  Our goal is to read 15 minutes a day as a family from November 14th-17th. Reading logs will be coming home on Friday November 11th. This will be a fun way to read and connect as a family. Our celebration is planned to encourage parents and caregivers to connect with their children by reading aloud and sharing favorite books to inspire them to become lifelong readers!
