Alaylia Wilson

Ms. Alaylia (Ms. A) is a Wood River Valley local and has spent most of her life working with children. Working with kids has always been a natural talent for Ms. A. She grew up doing gymnastics and cheerleading at her mother’s gym, Spirit N Motion, and began as a junior coach at 12 years old. From there, she helped to run summer camps at the facility and coached competitive gymnastics through college at the University of Idaho. She has also worked as both a live-in nanny and a full-time nanny, and as an instructor at Art & Soul Dance Academy.

Ms. A graduated from Silver Creek High School, and was very involved in clubs, sports, and extracurriculars. In college, she was an honors student and a member of the Delta Zeta sorority. She received her BS in Broadcast News and Digital Media with minors in Creative Writing and Theatre Performance. After graduating, she spent a year as the Arts and Events editor for the Idaho Mountain Express. She loves to volunteer for local organizations like The Hunger Coalition and The Advocates, too. She first began substituting for Syringa Mountain School in the Fall of 2025 and officially joined the team this school year as the fundraising and social media chair and a paraprofessional.

She enjoys spending time outside adventuring in the valley – there’s always more to explore, even after growing up here! Family is very important to her, with four younger brothers (Quinton, Richter, Sutter, and Fynley) to mentor and lead. She loves to cook and bake, trying new recipes as often as she can. She likes to read, sing in local choirs, and spend time with her cats, Pickles and Mumford. Ms. A also loves to travel and is a certified travel agent, too! She loves lounging on the beach in Mexico just as much as exploring old European cities!

Fun Fact: Ms. Alaylia has chronic hiccups and has so much fun laughing with her students when her silly hiccups come out – they’ve nicknamed her Ms. Hiccups!
